Rhino! is an original physical theatre project inspired by Eugène Ionesco's iconic play, Rhinoceros. Bringing together practitioners from theatre, dance and performance, the project explores how movement, embodiment and collaborative devising can reimagine the play's central questions for today's world.
Rather than creating a direct adaptation, the project uses Rhinoceros as a point of departure to investigate conformity, identity and collective behaviour in the age of digital media. The research will culminate in a public showcase at Voila! Festival in November 2026.
